Kebar grass (Biophytum petersianum) is a popular fertility medicinal plant in West Papua. Kebar grass, which includes saponins and steroid chemicals, has been proven in some studies to stimulate the formation of egg cell follicles. The grass from Kebar District, Tambrauw Regency, West Papua has the local name banondit which means many children.
