Native to Madura Island, gaok chicken is most common on Puteran Island in Sumenep Regency. The singer’s female chicken has a neck striped in black and white, and it crows long like a pelung chicken. Males plumage has a greenish ground color. Gaok chickens are not only good singers, but they also have the potential to be broilers due to their huge weight of 3.5-4 kg.
