Sentul chicken is known for its delicious meat characteristics that originate from Ciamis Regency in West Java. The Livestock Research Center (Balitnak) conducted phenotypic selection and body weight aged 70 days in the sentul chicken family for 6 generations to produce chosen sentul chickens (SenSi). The sentul chickens have two different feather colors: gray and white with black spots (local name pucak). In 20-week-old males, pucak can weigh 2.4 kg/head, while in females 1.6 kg/per head.
