Arachis pintoi is a type of legume plant that is useful as a soil protector. The plant discovered by GCP Pinto in 1954 in Brazil (the name GCP Pinto is registered as a trademark, namely pinto peanut) is very special. These beans can act as a ground cover in gardens, bind nitrogen from the air, stop erosion on sloping fields, and act as a substitute for goat fodder.
