The tengadak fish (Barbonymus scwanenfeldii) lives in the Indonesian rivers of Borneo and Sumatra. The meat of the tengadak fish is tasty and high in protein. The fish that can adapt to any environment has a silver pattern, orange or reddish dorsal fins, and a tail. It takes 55 to 60 days for eggs to hatch before seeds grow to a diameter of 2 cm.
